Starting with well-known texts such as Pero Vaz de Caminha’s Letter from the Discovery of Brazil, Kafka's Letter to his father, Oscar Wilde’s De Profundis (Letter written to "Bosie" (Lord Alfred Douglas)), Mariana Alcoforado’s Portuguese letters and New Portuguese letters by Maria Teresa Horta, Maria Isabel Barreno and Maria Velho da Costa, among others, blah blah blah, this odd-man-out aims to cast new light on several themes, such as feminism, war and post-colonialism, in a world where Facebook and Twitter are all the rage. A letter can either be a speech or an email, without being afraid of the past and looking towards the future. Correspondence to be exchanged between the entire family and for people aged over 12.
