Can we read the world without reading? Perhaps we can all agree that the answer is no. But what we choose to read can shape the way we choose to see the world.

The Rodopio Reading Club meets once a month to explore books that reflect on arts education, challenge the way we look at the world, spark questions, deepen our curiosity, and inspire creative practice.

Now in its third season, the Reading Club grew out of the Rodopio programme—a learning and artistic experimentation programme delivered in public kindergartens and primary schools across the municipality of Guimarães. It is a space for shared reading, discovery, and ongoing reflection.

The reading programme is curated by the Education and Cultural Mediation team at A Oficina, while also incorporating suggestions from participants.
