In Collect, Cut, Print!, we’ll explore the technique of screen printing using paper stencils in a practical and collaborative setting. Inside the museum, and inspired by its collections, we’ll gather simple sketches to take to the printing area. The workshop includes an introduction to materials and tools, screen preparation and inking, printing, and cleaning of the screens.

Each participant will get to try printing on different surfaces and even layer prints using various screens. Participants may bring a T-shirt if they'd like to try printing on fabric—and wear their creation anywhere, anytime. Comfortable clothing that can get stained is recommended.
